Job Description:

Hive Media Group is looking for a highly motivated Digital Media Buyer to join our team! The ideal candidate is a data-driven self-starter who is constantly diving into data and seeking out new testing opportunities, researching strategies, and providing insights from past campaign performance. This person will be launching and scaling spend on a high volume of native and/or social campaigns daily. In order to succeed in this role, you must be experienced and confident in your ability to manage large spending budgets, have a critical eye for detail, and have a passion for data analysis!

*****This is a full-time, Hybrid position in any Hive Media Office

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deploy, and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms such as display, social media, native, search, etc., with high conversion rates and maximize profitability.
  • Manages budget allocations and bid parameters to deliver the most efficient results.
  • Test new ideas based on insights gained from campaign management
  • Pulls and analyzes campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations.
  • Proactively and effectively optimize media buys utilizing KPIs.
  • Ensures that campaign KPIs and objectives are met both near and long term.
  • Prepares research and insights to inform ongoing media recommendations and strategies.
  • Identify, research, and evaluate media market trends, new markets, and competitive activity to capitalize on untapped opportunities such as niche sites.
  • Experiment with new platforms and channels.
  • Stay up to date on current events & suggest campaign updates in response to major news.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 1 - 3 years of hands-on media buying experience with one or more of the following platforms: Meta, Twitter, Google Ad Network, Outbrain, Taboola, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of paid search, paid social and programmatic advertising.
  • Exceptional work ethic, high sense of urgency, driven and self-motivated.
  • Must be experienced in analyzing data and/or market research.
  • Strong experience writing/revising test plans based on information obtained from prior marketing and testing efforts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of CPA and sales conversions.
  • Ability to follow changes in the paid media industry and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with management and peers virtually. 
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, passionate about data analysis, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
