The successful candidate will initially work from home and there is potential for the position to be a permanent work from home opportunity. Our ideal candidate is located in Ontario, with ability to travel to either of our locations to work in office, if and when necessary.

 

Job Summary

A Quality Assurance Specialist leads the development, enhancement, and implementation of a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) program across all operational divisions of the organization and its third-party servicers. This position is fast paced and dynamic, requiring flexibility, self-initiative, and a keen attention to detail in a growing and industry leading organization.

This is an 8–20-month contract position, with the possibility of extension or becoming a permanent position.

 

What does a typical day look like?

  • Complete monthly QA reviews within each internal Operational Team and with external collection agencies and other service providers
  • Establish cycles of review and enhancements, utilizing customer trends, industry updates, and feedback from employees, consumers, and department leaders
  • Prepare and present QA reports to department leaders and members of the Executive Leadership Team
  • Develop regular reviews of the QA program and identify enhancement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Department Leaders to design QA program requirements including appropriate KPI’s across each line of business, communicate changes, and implement QA program enhancements
  • Coordinate with Ministry and Regulatory auditors and our clients to provide information as necessary and assess remediation, if applicable
  • Conduct audits of external suppliers and vendors to inspect processes and policies and to ensure Canaccede’s brand and our clients’ brands are upheld to the highest industry standards
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned and are required to be performed as part of this position

 

What qualifications are required for this position?

  • Post secondary education in related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess a solid understanding of process flow and development, and the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of quality assurance testing and the ability to apply knowledge and skills to a range of professional assignments including complex reviews
  • Previous quality assurance experience
  • Ability to operate computer and general office equipment
  • Ability to independently analyze extensive data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies and recommend the best course of corrective action
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide variety of individuals
  • Ability to represent our organization in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to design, write, test and document efficient policies and procedures to meet business needs
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Bilingual (English and French)

 

What type of scheduling does Canaccede Financial Group offer?

This temporary full-time role requires availability during core hours of operation (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
