We are looking for a Creative Services - Production Coordinator

 

The Production Coordinator will become part of our Creative Services Team within Customer Experience and Marketing. You will work with talented graphic designers and communications professionals to manage projects through the creative process. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team, focused on delivering exceptional results in a high performing environment.

 

What you will do 

  • Work with team members to develop engaging, customer-focused marketing materials for internal and external audiences
  • Manage accessibility of files internally and with vendors
  • Manage large workloads in a positive agile manner with good understanding of knowing what’s possible from creative teams
  • Provide direction on tactical execution to internal partners on major initiatives 
  • Responsible for tracking projects through Creative Services while maintaining information within the project database
  • Apply proper follow up measures to ensure key milestone dates are met and provide solutions that assist in prioritization of work
  • Ensure print production and distribution requirements are provided accurately to have product produced properly for successful campaigns
  • Effectively communicate with partners involving the assembly and delivery of materials
  • File management required for various mediums to ensure compatibility with vendors
  • Coordinate approvals of vendor proofs and communicate reproduction changes as needed
  • Follow workflow and processes accurately and consistently

What you will bring 

  • Post-secondary education in a graphic design related field combined with two year’s work-related experience
  • In-depth production knowledge of graphic design and file formats required for digital and print media
  • Well organized and results oriented with a good understanding of how design files are created and the AODA requirements within
  • In-depth knowledge of digital print, offset print and finishing methods
  • Must have a good understanding of different substrates and the applications applied to each
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Adaptability to change priorities while providing solutions to hit moving targets
  • Detail oriented when it matters and flexible when you need to be
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve process/systems to create efficiencies
  • Strong negotiation skills when working with partners regarding timeline requirements
  • Self-motivation with an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to utilize FTP site for large file transfer
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and Cloud storage services
  • Knowledge of SAP, Smartsheet or WorkFront is an asset
