Human Resources Information System Analyst

 

The HRIS Analyst will lead and provide functional assistance in developing and implementing the HRIS and peripheral HR system solutions, that meet user requirements. In this critical technical role, you will play a vital part in maximizing the functionality of our HR systems.

 

What would a typical day look like?

  • Directly oversee the company HRIS
  • Provide tactical and strategic guidance to HR professionals, functional and operational leaders within the company regarding all aspects of the HRIS
  • Provide leadership and project management for HRIS initiatives – developing project plans and managing progress on initiatives
  • Partner with Leadership to understand the composition of the business, business needs and key initiatives and translate those requirements to ensure the system is built to efficiently support the organization
  • Liaison with business partners to drive improvements, including HCM, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Payroll, and others. Plan and monitor progress of all external partners working within the HCM on initiatives/projects.
  • Define HRIS project roadmap with HR Leadership through an understanding of key business initiatives, evaluating process optimization requirements to support the business, key release features, etc.
  • Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes, which improve the delivery of HR services to the organization.
  • Key player both strategically and technically on HRIS implementations
  • Key player both strategically and technically for all HRIS related M&A activities having the ability to evaluate the business need and formulate and implement a plan to merge businesses. Addressing all factors that come with M&A – data conversion, process harmonization, dual maintenance, communication, education & training.
  • Identifying knowledge gaps and building training, documentation etc. to address said gaps
  • Work alongside Business Unit HR partners to configure, test, upgrade, maintain etc. the system
  • Building processes that are fully vetted and sustainable
  • Building reports and dashboard
  • All other hands-on technical responsibilities as required
  • Serve as primary interface with HCM and implementation vendors on any issues, or any configurations/requirements that need to be escalated.

 

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years HR experience with at least 2 years of HRIS experience
  • Have true hands-on technical expertise in several HCM Modules – HR Core, Reporting, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HCM fundamentals
  • Experience working with international teams, preferred
  • Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and information.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PowerBI.
  • Ability to influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives.
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating the HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
  • Track record of business partnership and cross functional collaboration within a dynamic, fast paced environment; a strategic leader who takes initiative and ownership.
  • Ability to effectively conduct virtual presentations and training sessions.
  • An ability to travel; although this position is remote and minimal travel is required, you should have the ability to travel within US and Canada
