Amazon Marketing Manager

 

Description

The Amazon Marketing Manager will be an expert in the Amazon Advertising platform and work closely with the VP, Amazon and the Amazon Marketing Management team to develop StarTech.com’s global Amazon Advertising strategy in alignment with the company’s Brand and Product Strategy.

In this role, you will lead a team of specialists and external partners in the execution, management, and optimization of campaigns across all Amazon Advertising platforms. In collaboration with Category & Merchandising Managers, the Marketing Manager will provide strategic consultation and data driven insights into StarTech.com’s media data to deliver ASIN level product strategies which maximize brand awareness, traffic, conversion and ultimately drive revenue growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and execute the global Amazon advertising strategy aligned to the StarTech.com brand and product strategies to achieve desired business outcomes including:
    1. Driving product discovery and traffic to both product detail pages and branded pages such as Amazon Stores
    2. Creating a competitive edge in brand awareness and exposure
    3. Optimization of sales of under-converting or top performers
    4. Ensure success of new product launches
    5. Drive incremental revenue
  • Own advertising performance for North America & collaborate with Amazon Marketing Management team to ensure global strategy alignment
  • Monitor, measure and analyze advertising data to provide precise performance reports and work with Merchandising Managers to turn insights into actionable strategies to drive growth
  • Analyze advertising data to produce Category/ASIN insight and recommendations to Category Managers on ASIN level strategies to drive growth
  • Assess, acquire, and manage agency partners and platforms
  • Manage Reputation Management & Non-Amazon digital marketing campaigns
  • All other related duties as required

What can you bring to the table?

  • Bachelors’ degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, or Business
  • 5 years+ Amazon Advertising experience and broader digital marketing/paid advertising experience, specifically in driving customer traffic and conversion across eCommerce sites
  • Past experience working in high-growth digitally driven marketing and sales organizations
  • Proven experience of managing marketing budgets towards goals and objectives
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of categories, subcategories, and products
  • Highly analytical with substantial knowledge of Excel to dissect and digest large-scale data
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with the competence to make data driven decisions
  • Knowledge of Skai (formerly Kenshoo) and Amazon Marketing Services would be advantageous
  • Well versed in digital analytics and reporting tools and platforms, with ability to quickly navigate data and leverage analytics to make decisions
  • Comfortable presenting complex analysis in a simple, easy to digest way to C-suite level stakeholders
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Understanding of digital creative production, ad serving, cross-channel attribution, and media math
