Senior Product Designer

As the Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with Product Leaders, Engineers, and other Product Designers to bring products from ideation to fruition. You will bear ownership throughout the product lifecycle from discovery to validation and iteration. You will contribute to fostering the unity of the product team as a whole, advocate design thinking in cross-functional teams, and deliver human-centric experiences with well-crafted creative solutions. 

You will also be accountable for raising the bar of the product design department and the work that we produce. You will be a part of structuring the company’s product design vision and communicating it to the outside world.

What you’ll be doing

• Work with Product Leaders to uncover user pain points with quantitative and qualitative data.
• Conduct effective user discovery
• Consult stakeholders to gather insights and translate them into generative design solutions
• Work with Product leaders to identify measurable success metrics for design.
• Work with Product Leaders, Engineers, and Product Designers to produce graceful UX and UI solutions.
• Work with other designers to maintain and enrich design systems
• Facilitate effective communication with Product Leaders and Engineers with tangible design processes
• Work with Engineers to ensure that the built outcome is aligned with design requirements to meet the measurement of success
• Facilitate a design team culture 

What we are looking for

• Shipped products in portfolio or able to be presented
• Excellent communication in articulating design decisions
• Profound knowledge in UX and UI best practices
• Experienced in initiating conversations with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate design processes
• Industry experience in working closely with Product Leaders and Engineers
• Experience in evaluating design outcomes through measurable metrics and action on the results
• Understanding of product methodologies and life cycles
• Ability to create meaningful and delightful UI design
• Diligent skill in problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Able to develop paradigms that support simplicity, consistency and efficiency across the product
• Ability to assess a design solution’s radiated implications, navigate through its impact and mitigate risks accordingly
