Incentives Analyst - ZappyRide
Location: Remote Canada
Reports to Title: Head Of EV Products, ZappyRide
The Role:
Incentive Analysts research and interpret federal, state, local government and utility websites to understand incentive eligibility and amount logic to build evaluation tools that assist companies in assessing eligibility and estimated incentive amounts when switching commercial fleet vehicles to electric vehicles. The analyst will work closely with the data and engineering team.
The Impact
ZappyRide has ongoing commitments to major OEMs, utilities and energy companies to capture and create incentive evaluator logic that shows fleet operators significant savings achievable through commercial incentives. These can often pay for over half the cost of new electric vehicles making the switch financially viable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret incentive programs, and enter the logic into ZappyRide's business system using internal tools and spreadsheets
- Learn and understand incentive programs offered by federal, state and local governments as well as utilities related to electric vehicles and associated charging equipment
- Recreate the precise logic that identifies if a given project is (a) eligible and (b) if eligible an estimate of the incentive amount in internal tools and spreadsheets
- Build multiple test cases to be applied to incentive evaluator logic and assess if the logic is working correctly
- 2 years experience as a data analyst or in quality assurance or equivalent role requiring detailed analysis and / or testing
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel including creating complex formula
- Industry experience in automotive would be a bonus
- Industry experience in electric utilities would be a bonus
We may expand this role into a role performed by a team that, subject to your demonstrated success, you may be considered to manage.
