Job Description
Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, Web/Product Analytics Insights
Location: Remote Canada, Remote US
Reports to Title: Manager, Strategic & Analytics
Role:
This Senior Data Analyst role will require creativity (thought leadership) focused on digital marketing analytics to deliver insights around how consumers interact with automotive consumer websites as they go through the car buying process. You’ll dive deep into website activity, performance, KPI monitoring, and A/B testing that is necessary to impact the financial, operational, and promotional areas of the company with your recommended data-driven strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with digital consumer product and development team to build and optimize consumer website experiences
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges that drive business impact by delivering data-driven insights that deepen our understanding of user behavior and feature use and make recommendations that guide product toward higher user engagement
- Identify key metrics, conduct data-analysis, create dashboards and ad hoc reports to track performance against objectives and key results
- Monitor website health and identify factors affecting site traffic
- Create test plans and conduct A/B and multivariate testing, report results and provide recommended actions
- Partner with key stakeholders to prioritize product opportunities based on ROI potential
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- This individual is considered a data “go to” person or subject matter expert (SME) for a department function, process or data subset.
- Prioritize work assignments to maximize personal efficiency and to meet completion commitments
- Process the most complex and high-profile SQL queries and reports in an extremely timely and accurate manner

- Perform advanced analyses to understand and explain trends and
- drivers of key marketing metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in an Analytics centric role
- Proficient in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, Advanced SQL, Optimize testing platform
- Awareness of the wider Digital Marketing space, including Paid Search, SEO & general Digital Marketing strategy
- Strong communication and presentation skills, critical thinking skills
- Experience visualizing data to communicate analysis with stakeholder
- Self-motivated individual with a curious mindset with the ability to analyze complex/large datasets and distill findings into a compelling and concise story.
- Very high accuracy and attention to detail is required and must be demonstrated in decision making and entry of information
- Able to work remotely within the U.S. or Canada
