Description

ITRG Executive Advisors are an exclusive group of business executives who help to guide, mentor, advise and provide research content with CIO’s and senior executives members. Their coaching assists executives and business leaders in delivering improved results by optimizing decision making, mitigating risk and addressing the top challenges they face on the path to improving IT results. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Advisors are accountable for member’s satisfaction and engagement with Info-Tech.
• Leverage ITRG Research and Advisory to serve IT Executives and Leaders.
• Deliver ITRG research content to members.
• Diagnose member pain points and connect them with our Subject Matter Experts
• Facilitate and participate in client facing events.
• By utilizing their subject matter expertise, develop synthesized answers to members in response to inquiries.
• Manage under-serviced members and identify growth opportunities for over-services members
• Participate in regular communication / support / education and participation with Sales Leadership and Account Directors to drive sales and support efforts.
• Contribute to continuing development of Advisory Services and ITRG Research through member interactions.
• Facilitate on-site meetings and research briefings at client location.
• Uncover and document key initiatives for senior IT leaders through and develop short plans for support

Key Selection Criteria:

  • A former or transitioning CIO/ Senior IT Management. Would consider a deputy CIO / senior management role in an IT capacity, Consulting, IT Supplier, or other related capacity
  • Accomplished, authentic and engaged leader with experience in growth and/or transformational environments
  • Assessing ambiguous situations and solving client issues by providing outcome based options with appropriate ITRG support to achieve desired results
  • In depth understanding of the IT industry and the CIO role while possessing the ability to listen, probe, and challenge senior executives
  • Understanding the business value of IT and partnerships with Business and IT strategies
  • Strong relationship builder with wide networks
  • Strong independent self-starter who takes initiative in managing their day to day
  • Easily builds rapport and relationships with tenured senior executives while creating trust with CIO executives
  • Technically sufficient and work with minimal direction
  • Strong verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel and obtain a TN1 Visa
  • Canadian and/or USA industry knowledge within professional services industry.
  • Able to facilitate / lead discussions on topic areas of: security, vendor management, talent and workforce management, data and analytics, org design and op model and cost optimization
