Game Programmer – New Grad/Recent Grad

Big Blue Bubble is seeking a motivated and talented problem solver with a passion for video games, combined with the technical programming skills and math skills to create them. In this position, these are the things you will be responsible for:

• Working with our seasoned game programmers to learn the skills and techniques required to develop and support actual games.
• Maintaining and extending the existing code base.
• Creating tools and processes to facilitate development.
• Having exposure and input into the creative and design process by participating in daily Scrum meetings with Producers, Programmers, Artists and our Quality Services team.

To be an effective team member, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with C#, Java and JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and math skills.
• Familiarity with graphics, animation, networking and other game programming domains.
• Experience with Unity, databases, app development, and source control systems.
• Knowledge of software concepts such as data structures, object-oriented programming and design patterns.
