Marketing Coordinator

Q5X designs and manufactures professional wireless microphone transmitters and receivers for use in broadcast sports and entertainment. We sell globally; both directly and through our partner, Shure Inc. to sports leagues (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB), broadcasters (ESPN, Turner, Disney), and reality TV productions (Big Brother, Love Island, Dancing with the Stars). Our team is comprised of engineers and designers who excel at delivering timely solutions to allow our users to capture audio in any environment. Position

The candidate will support the global marketing of Q5X products through both internal and external partner channels. Primary responsibilities: • Create and produce marketing materials for Q5X products (digital, print, video) • Create tools to support sales (photo & video library, price sheets, articles) • Leverage social media by sharing, reposting, and creating Q5X content • Maintain and edit website as needed • Maintain CRM database to produce meaningful email campaigns • Ensure internal brand consistency (email footers, templates, colors, fonts, layouts) Secondary responsibilities: • Support inside sales activities, • Provide sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information • Research competitor products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising • Maintaining research database

Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:
  • Proficient with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
  • Experienced with web editors and CRMs (Zoho)
  • Have a post-secondary diploma or BA in related a field
  • Have an interest in sports and entertainment
Experience with any of the following is an asset that should be highlighted in the cover letter:
  • Working in multi-faceted position
  • Interest in audio/video, wireless gear, and other gadgets
  • Understanding the customer, process improvements, and market segmentation
