Our Team Focusses

E-Commerce

Often long term development projects, requiring complex functionality and extensive testing. A broad range of skills is required to produce comprehensive website audits, testing plans, administration and client consultation.

Marketing/Brand Websites

Bringing powerful design to life with both small and large scale projects, with focused lead generation goals.

Campaign Landing Pages

Fast-paced, lightweight landing page development, focusing on analytics and campaign performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Taking ownership for the delivery of industry-leading web applications in collaboration with the team, enhancing user experience, and maximizing member retention and engagement

• Actively contributes to project development, supporting teams to ensure web development solutions account to provide best practice standards and result in measurable client goals

• Works independently to self-manage the delivery of exceptional results

• Identifies inefficiencies within existing web applications and proposes solutions

• Develops brand-specific web projects, combining experience and proven solutions

• Documents and collaborates on web strategies, using a variety of communication channels and platforms with internal and external stakeholders

• Works with Project Managers and other specialty team members to develop new and exciting web application features

• Coordinates and consolidates project updates as required to maximize other department contributions

• Acts as a mentor for team members and assisting them in developing their skills

Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of proven web development experience in an agency or corporate environment

• Comprehensive experience with PHP/Laravel is required

• Certifications and/or demonstrated proficiency in web development is an asset for this position

• Experience developing and maintaining MySQL databases & servers

• Experience integrating third party API (REST/SOAP)

• Advanced  capabilities with scripting languages such as JavaScript and jQuery

• Strong knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS to collaborate with Web Designer(s) & Front-End Developers

• Personal professional development, self-driven to find robust solutions

• Practical experience utilizing common web authoring and publishing tools

• Solid understanding of Code Version Control (SVN/GIT) and related tools (Tortoise/BitBucket/SourceTree)
