Engineering Workbench Product Manager - Canada Remote

The Impact:  As Product Manager of Engineering Workbench, you will be responsible for supporting product strategy, product maintenance and innovation, and go-to-market. This position is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through extensive understanding of market needs and requirements to solve customer problems. In doing so, this position interfaces greatly with clients, as well as internal stakeholders including sales, product marketing, customer experience and software development, to deliver innovative solutions for the market.

 

Responsibilities: On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be working across various PM and cross-functional teams in carrying out the core responsibilities of your role. 

  • Executes product vision and business cases

  • Responsible for gathering, understanding and articulating market requirements to support customer workflow problems

  • Responsible for product roadmap and prioritizing enhancements

  • Develops development investment business cases for management approval

  • Evolves the product through buy, build or partner strategies

  • Creates and maintains competitive pricing that reflects product value

  • Create effective customer value propositions that result in customer purchase and adoption of new products or enhancements

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on Engineering Workbench and customer workflows

  • Interact collaboratively with members of product development, sales, customer experience, marketing and directly with customers

  • Shapes and leads customer discovery activities, including user groups plus deep analytics of usage data

 

What We’re Looking For: An individual inspired by our mission who is aligned with the values of our firm and brings the following skills and experience. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a client-facing product management role

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership to work effectively as part of a product team and foster team cooperation

  • Ability to articulate product positioning to both a business and technical audience

  • Strong communication and presentations skills appropriate for all levels of internal and external stakeholders

  • Stays current with rapidly changing industry and client needs

  • Strong understanding of how technologies can solve customer problems including Data Science, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing is required.   

  • Be curious and passionate with a strong desire to learn and can-do attitude 

  • Experience with construction or engineering markets considered advantageous but not essential

  • S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,400 to $163,475.  Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
