Location: London, Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford Counties

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST 
                                                                            
Working in a team atmosphere, and reporting to the Group Leader, the Technical Support Analyst will utilize the Service Desk software in providing remote and on-site technical support while promoting as well as maintaining positive working relationships with all users, of the Thames Valley systems, including, but not limited to staff, Trustees, students, and families.  The Technical Support Analyst will install, configure, monitor, support, troubleshoot and provide information and advice on technology software, hardware, peripherals and other technology areas, as required. The Technical Support Analyst will utilize the Board’s phone system and other communication and technology tools to provide technology support.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be a graduate of a recognized two year post-secondary program in computer technologies or equivalent. Expertise is required in contemporary and legacy versions of Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS, iOS, and Chrome OS as well as software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, various web browsers and anti-virus programs. Working experience and knowledge with Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell, SharePoint, BitLocker, G-Suite Management or other Mobile Device Management Console and Microsoft Active Directory will be considered an asset. Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required. The successful candidate must be able to understand and respond to the needs of diverse school communities.

EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have minimum two years work related experience diagnosing problems, supporting computers, users, and computer networks.

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $26.99 per hour
HOURS OF WORK:  7 hours per day, 35 hours per week between 0800 - 1600 with a maximum 1-hour unpaid lunch
