What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a high-performing Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This person will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will help with the day to day management of social and email marketing including social schedules, post creation and writing, email creation and writing, etc. This individual will also support Northern’s marketing efforts by coordinating with subject matter experts and internal team members to complete deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of social and email marketing (social schedules, post creation/writing, email creation/writing, etc.)
- Proofreading material for releases of internal communication and presentation materials
- Implementation and coordination of marketing schedule, task management, etc.
- Drafting of press releases and other communications
- Coordinating with subject matter experts to prepare blog content and case studies
- Coordinating with internal team members to help distribute internal marketing / comms
- Posting and updating Northern’s website content
- Supporting ongoing marketing projects
- Working collaboratively with Northern’s marketing and design team members to achieve department goals, improving processes and efficiencies
Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
- Undergraduate University Degree or College Diploma, or equivalent experience in a related field (eg Business, Marketing, etc.)
- 2+ years of working experience in a similar role
- Understanding of various Digital Marketing tactics (eg. SEO, PPC, Social, Email, etc.)
- Experience with email marketing tools (mailchimp, hubspot, salesforce, etc.) or CMS's (wordpress, drupal, etc.)
- Knowledge of business concepts (eg Sales funnels, ROI, Seasonality, etc.) is an asset
- Detailed knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Suite applications

- Previous Agency experience in Marketing / Digital Marketing industry
- Knowledge of Drupal*
