Production Assistant

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Digital Extremes is looking to add a Production Assistant to our team in Ontario, Canada. The Production Assistant's primary tasks are in the support of voice records.  Working closely with the Associate Producer for voice, the person will also provide general assistance in day-to-day production duties from a voice production perspective, including gathering and organizing information, connecting with the Narrative and Audio Teams, as well as others who may need voice support, and implementing the voice record process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide general assistance to the Associate Producer for voice, including research, information gathering, and administrative duties.
• Collaborate with Associate Producer on record schedules, coordinating with external partners - agents, talent, recording studios, voice directors.
• Organize casting submissions and present options to the team for selection.
• Make talent suggestions, when required.
• Field day-to-day inquiries.
• Record assisting during record sessions, including creating accurate and clear take sheet notes.
• Update and maintain the Voice Record Schedule, Casting Documents and any relevant break-out schedules as needed.  
• Stay up-to-date on narrative direction, design changes and audio needs through team communication and play testing.
• Facilitate team communication and ensure timely dissemination of information.
• Provide general support to Producers on an as needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in an entertainment field of study
• Previous administrative and/or customer service experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with the flexibility to adjust to change
• An interest in games, from a voice perspective
• An interest in the craft of acting
• Located in Ontario, Canada
