As CARFAX grows, so does our recruiting team - which is why we're seeking a confident recruiter with a specific focus in Technical Recruiting.
As a Technical Recruiter you will be responsible for the entire recruiting lifecycle - including finding, filtering, qualifying, presenting and closing candidates. You will partner with your hiring managers to ensure the placement of the best technical talent possible, all while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

As a Technical Recruiter with CARFAX you will:
  • Manage a high volume of our highest priority requisitions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail & excellent, timely communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Build and own a sourcing pipeline and candidate pool for your positions
  • Establish relationships with your hiring managers and develop a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and team style in order to use this information to attract top candidates
  • Understand the CARFAX organization, products and our competitive differentiators
  • Attract, source and screen applicants using a variety of innovative techniques including social networking and direct sourcing
  • Track all recruitment activity metrics and provide weekly updates to your manager and hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS
  • Participate in recruiting events and cross-functional projects as needed
To be successful as a Technical Recruiter you will need to have:
  • 3+ years of hands on recruiting experience, at least 2 of which have been focused recruiting technical professionals
  • A proven record of filling technical positions with active and passive candidates
  • A thorough understanding of Canadian Employment Law
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other passive sourcing tools
  • Experience building strong relationships with hiring teams
  • Evidence of recruiting for multiple roles simultaneously
  • A Results-oriented mindset with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • An eye for detail and strong intuition for culture fit while screening candidates
  • A creative and strategic view of sourcing with affinity toward social media as a recruiting tool
