DevSecOps Engineer

Who is a DevSecOps Engineer?

At GoodLife Fitness, member experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve member experience we are now looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with .NET, we’d love to speak with you.

What will you be doing?

• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Handle code deployments in all environments
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Continually grow and improve DevSecOps practices and processes
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
• Document and design various processes; update existing processes
• Improve infrastructure development and application development
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on secure development and operations
• Set and maintain delivery and operational metrics. Ensure security and operational policy requirements.
• Automate Security Testing Tools and Processes early in the development lifecycle

Do you have what it takes?

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification
• 2-3 Years relevant experience
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Experience deploying and monitoring applications in Azure.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD tools
• Proficient with Azure
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tooling
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
