Job Description
Title: Production Coordinator
Great opportunity in North York
Our client is looking for an Apparel Production Coordinator/Assistant to the Head of Production to join their team! We are looking for someone who is dedicated and diligent with excellent organization skills. This person will report to the Head of Production and will support the day-to-day activities of the production team. To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual who is resourceful, organized and has strong communication skills.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing production tasks from development to the final stages of execution.
• Overseeing production coordination team.
• Supporting our clients’ largest customers through the production process as necessary.
• Monitoring the quality of products throughout the production process and resolving any issues during the process.
• Reviewing quote requests first to ensure sufficient details are given to the quote.
• Coordinating Custom Domestic& Overseas orders
• Participating in necessary workplace training related to production, machinery, and health & safety.
• Supporting the Head of Production on assigned tasks such as prioritizing and scheduling work to meet deadlines.
• Supporting the Head of Production to develop and make improvements to the production process.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Experience:
• 1-3 years’ experience, preferably within the Apparel Production Industry.
