Description

 

The role of the Marketing Specialist, Sales Engagement is to provide sales reps with the content and resources to drive growth and success within their pipeline. Partnering with the sales team and marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions for transforming cadences and nurture-based sales programs within SalesLoft. Success is measured by the overall business impact of these solutions and cross-functional collaboration. You will be accountable for implementing the sales enablement activities for Info-Tech Research Group and McLean & Company. In accordance with the marketing plan and sales strategy, you will be responsible for contributing to projects that drive revenue growth.

We are open to applicants working remotely in Canada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

You should have a strong grasp of sales engagement tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated workflows across the sales and marketing tech stack. Experience with a target audience of IT buyers is a strong asset. This role will work with marketing, sales, and operations to understand the impact of every sales conversation and replicate and scale behaviours of the best-performing reps across the entire sales team.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

Key Responsibility Areas & KPI’S

  • Manage our sales engagement software (SalesLoft) to guide reps through the sales process by creating and managing automated touchpoints that drive pipeline growth.
  • Write and develop email cadence journeys based on triggers like opportunity stage, job role, and more.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across all revenue-generating teams by understanding what resonates with prospects.
  • Continuously test and iterate on go-to-market messaging throughout the customer journey to drive higher inbound response rate.
  • Gather and relay feedback to help sales leaders continuously iterate on the entire sales engagement strategy.
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team.
  • Maintain sales engagement software to ensure it is easily accessible and providing the capabilities our sales teams need.
  • Build a trusted relationship with sales reps and sales leadership.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Assist with training and development for sales.

COMPETENCIES/KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years proven experience working in a high-performance B2B sales organization in sales, enablement, or marketing.
  • Experience with SalesLoft or similar sales engagement software (HubSpot Sales Hub, Outreach,
  • Salesforce High Velocity Sales)
  • A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools, and training.
  • Strong stakeholder management and understanding of the needs of stakeholders at various levels and functions in the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-project environment.
  • Excellent communicator and project manager who can adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Strong writing capabilities, specifically with B2B sales emails.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Able to build internal relationships with sales and marketing.
  • IT industry knowledge/experience would be an asset.
