Job Description

London Hydro's current SAP CIS (Customer Information System) is being upgraded to S4 HANA.  Use your initiative and exemplary administrative skills to provide executive support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Vice President, Corporate Services for a period of up to 1 year to assist with this CIS Project.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Executive Assistant role will include:
  • Acting as Coordinator for the CIS Project related internal London Hydro internal activities.
  • Scheduling, attending and recording meeting minutes for the CIS Project team.
  • Entering weekly time for contract staff and approving time entry as required based on approved confidential rates.
  • Researching, analyzing, and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence such as business letters, project reports, and memos.
  • Filing of important documents, such as reports, meeting notes, emails and letters.
  • Reviewing, proofreading, and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations for the Project team.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Act rules and regulations, the IHSA's Electrical Utility Safety Rules, London Hydro safe work practices and procedures, and all components of London Hydro's health and safety program.
  • Other duties as required.

Essential Qualifications
Your profile as the qualified Executive Assistant we seek will include the following strengths:
  • Community college diploma requiring more than 2 years to obtain or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency using personal computers with the appropriate software packages, including excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Excellent keyboarding and writing skills. 
  • Experience recording meeting minutes.
  • Ability and initiative to work on your own and under pressure.
