Education and Experience Needed

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Physically able to move/organize inventory
  • Post-secondary education required (focus on business and/or marketing considered an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of prior work experience is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Bilingual (French) is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all French translation requests, and work with various stakeholders to move requests through the translation process
  • Co-ordinate the selection and development of new point of purchase materials, promotional items, as well as signage and equipment for conferences and events
  • Act as the primary contact with external vendors to request quotes and samples, place all orders for swag and POP, provide final artwork files, facilitate review and approval of proofs, and coordinating logistics for incoming shipments
  • Maintain catalogue of point of purchase materials and promotional items, as well as order forms and tracking spreadsheets, update ordering platforms as items are added/removed, and communicate availability of new items to internal stakeholders
  • Physical management of point of purchase materials and promotional items, including receiving boxes/skids, organizing inventory in storage room, and moving boxes from storage area to packaging and shipping area
  • Quality control – ensure that the quality of all incoming point of purchase materials and promotional items is on brand and meets our quality standards, and work with vendor to address any issues
  • Processing orders for point of purchase materials and promotional items, including picking, packaging, and shipping of orders, as well as tracking orders by team
  • Inventory management, including regular inventory counts, identifying low inventory items, recommending re-order quantities, creating purchase orders, working with vendors to replenish inventory, forecasting how long inventory will last based on expected demand, reporting and tracking costs against budget
  • Work closely with the Workplace Experience team to manage deliveries and storage space
  • Provide conference and event support, including shipping of items for trade show exhibits, assisting with the creation of signage and equipment,
  • Support sales promotions and golf tournaments by collecting prize orders, and working with vendors to order and distribute prizes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
  • Assist with special projects, as needed
