Key Qualifications 

• Hands on experience with Azure DevOps tools and technologies 
• Introductory experience with container platforms preferably Kubernetes and/or Docker 
• Introductory knowledge of monitoring tools including Applications Insights, Azure Monitor, log analytics, Kusto Query Language, alerting, dashboards, workbooks, KPIs 
• Hands on application working with infrastructure code (IaC) Terraform, Ansible, ARM, GitHub. 
• Working knowledge of databases specifically Azure SQL (Microsoft T-SQL) 
• Applied collaborative practice problem solving and troubleshooting .NET and C# applications 

Key Responsibilities 

• Administer CARFAX Canada’s infrastructure in the Azure public cloud, including Virtual Machines (Linux and Windows), networking, Azure App Services and AD 
• Provision new services in the Azure public cloud and complying with our backup strategies and policies 
• Perform automation, continuous deployment, build, and configuration management 
• Implement, best practices for monitoring, logging and alerting 
• Create documentation that clarifies installations, procedures and requirements for systems/services and supports technical design, actions/solutions with expected outcome. 
• Integrate Azure Pipelines with Azure Application Insights to allow continuous monitoring of DevOps 
• Conduct scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, JSON, YAML, ARM Templates, Runbooks, Cloud Shell,) 
• Collaborate with various key stakeholders to spec and plan new product and feature implementations 
• Provide Tier 3 support for infrastructure/system issues as part of rotating, after-hours, on-call schedule  
• Learn new technologies to recommend and implement industry best practices where appropriate 
• Implement continuous delivery and release management 
• Implement strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• 2 + years in Development and/or IT infrastructure management 
• 1+ years of experience working with Azure cloud and Azure DevOps environments 
• University degree in Computer related Sciences or similar 
• Background in Azure DevOps Services and building pipeline with Azure DevOps, as well as end-to-end CI/CD process, test automation integration, microservices architecture 
• Cloud certification, preferably Microsoft Certified:  DevOps Engineer and Azure Administrator considered an asset. 
• Knowledge of instrumentation, site reliability engineering, security, and compliance an asset.
