WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our Director of IT Operations is an experienced IT leader who can provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to our team of developers, support staff, and cybersecurity team. They are passionate about software as a service and are committed to helping us keep our place as the leading HR platform in Canada.

As our Director of IT Operations, you will:

• Plan, direct, and evaluate the daily operations and workflow of the IT team.
• Provide leadership to employees through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
• Oversee the planning, development, and management of IT services; including internal and systems support.
• Manage and maintain HRdownloads’ IT infrastructure.
• Foster an atmosphere of success.

Requirements

You are an IT leader who:

• Is a strong people manager; ready to take on the challenge of leading information technology at one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies.
• Has hands-on experience with computer hardware, networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Has a good overall knowledge of cloud-based security, programming concepts, software development cycles, automated testing, and associated tools and platforms.
• Has a knowledge of database-driven web application design.
• Is passionate about helping us continue to create new and innovative HR tech solutions.
• Has a degree/diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Has 5+ years’ experience in an IT management/leadership capacity.

It’s a bonus if you:

• Have experience with AWS, Salesforce, Jira, Linux, Active Directory, Azure, Hubspot, Office365, Cisco, Telestrat, and Jabber.
