Executive HR Advisor

 

Position Purpose:

The Executive Advisor works with clients to uncover their HR needs and build Custom Key Initiative Plans to help them to make the most of their McLean & Company membership, leading to increased engagement and renewals.

Key Responsibilities: 

As an Executive Advisor you will focus on helping members in assigned accounts get the most out of their memberships by:

  • Building trusted peer relationships with clients, meeting with them by video-conference, telephone, or (post-pandemic) in person.
  • Conducting a needs analysis with each client and use this information to develop a Custom Key initiative plan.
  • Proactively partnering with the HR Engage Leadership team to identify priority accounts/ advisory seat holders within your assigned accounts.
  • Providing guidance to clients in assigned accounts for key blueprints (primarily in the HR Strategy Taxonomy area).
  • Debriefing the Employee Engagement, HR Stakeholder Management and HR Management & Governance Surveys for clients in assigned accounts.
  • Conducting annual half day analyst sessions with each Leadership member.
  • Debriefing Leadership Members’ 360 Feedback survey results.
  • Providing insight to the broader HR Research team on client needs and HR industry trends.

 

Key Selection Criteria: 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and/or leaders at all levels across the organization.
  •  Subject matter expertise across multiple functions in McLean & Company’s HR taxonomy
  • Proven ability to participate in unstructured value-based client conversations and make the links to McLean’s products and services
  • Collaborative, with superior listening, critical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Independent self-starter with strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment.
  • Intellectually curious about the effect of HR on the business landscape, with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Solid business instincts and a practical understanding of what makes companies tick and how HR professionals/executive teams operate.
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment.
