Modev Media is hiring a WordPress developer who thinks beyond code.

This is not a production-only role. You’ll build custom WordPress themes, solve real business challenges, and work directly with clients to help them grow. If you care about results, not just deliverables, you’ll fit well here.

What You’ll Do

Website Development

• Build custom WordPress themes from Figma designs

• Develop responsive layouts using Bootstrap 5

• Implement custom functionality (no heavy page builder reliance)

• Apply SEO best practices during development

Ongoing Client Support

• Perform content updates and feature enhancements

• Troubleshoot hosting, domain, and email issues

• Maintain security updates and backups

Advanced Projects

• Custom search and filtering systems

• eCommerce implementations

• AI integrations

• Custom plugin functionality

Strategy & Growth

• Advise clients on improvement opportunities

• Contribute to SEO and paid ad direction

• Help identify ways to improve performance and results

Technical Requirements

• Custom WordPress theme development

• PHP

• CSS / SCSS

• JavaScript

• Bootstrap 5

• Figma

• Git

Nice to Have

• SEO knowledge

• AODA / WCAG compliance

• Google Ads experience

• Comfort with hosting, email, and domain troubleshooting

Compensation & Structure

• $20–$35/hour (flexible for the right candidate)

• Part-time to start (10–20 hours/week)

• Potential to grow to 35 hours/week

• Flexible schedule (core availability for meetings required)
