What You’ll be Doing!

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to complex engineering projects and products through designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications using object oriented programming, industrial programming, communication protocols and more!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with cross functioning teams to create, develop, design, maintain, and test current and new applications and features
• Supporting and maintaining through all stages of the CI/CD lifecycle
• Identifying and implementing operational improvements
• Developing and applying new algorithms for mechanical and electrical system controls
• Implementing changes to existing and creating new engineering designs
• Completing code reviews, regression testing, end-to-end testing, debugging and more
• Assisting with projects and post-deployment through technical documentation, coding standards, project updates, troubleshooting
• Perform on-site system and software commissioning at global rail yards

Who are you?:

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Experienced in all phases of the development life cycle
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Knowledgeable in industrial communication protocols (Profinet, RS-232, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to an array of technical and non-technical audiences
• Passion for learning and keeping up to date with new technologies
• Ability to travel and work in industrial environments
