The After-Market-Parts-Service (AMPS) Planner is responsible for Sales order release and fulfillment based on customers’ requirements. You will be the main contact for Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Logistics, including arranging shipments for customers, preparing and coordinating shipments.

This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team located in London, Ontario and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Drive AMPS revenue and customer satisfaction through on-time delivery performance by analyzing data, applying VES process tools for improvement, and developing, implementing, and monitoring delivery schedules.
  • Expedite materials with the Purchasing Team to meet Production objectives. Identify and proactively resolve issues impacting customer deliveries by executing OTD (On Time Delivery) and Past Due analysis daily.
  • Coordinate Production throughout the Engineering change process (EN’s) and assist in executing kanban processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team activities as required by the Manager.
  • Maintain AMPS value stream daily management metrics for delivery and inventory, including monitoring and updating daily planning performance metrics.
  • Utilize the Capacity Tool to establish and maintain daily production schedules, including planning Finished Goods stock levels and maintaining the daily Hot List.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Works well under pressure and able to be productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to plan and execute work that is accurate, complete, timely, and reliable
  • Gathers, analyses, summarizes data to draw rational, fact-based conclusions
  • The ability to work collaboratively with fellow associates at all levels toward mutual objectives. 

Are you qualified?

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply-Chain-Management, Operations Management, Business or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Planning or Sales Co-Ordination require
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems. 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of inventory principals, including Kanban
  • Process focused with continuous improvement and customer (user) mindset
  • Works collaboratively across a variety of functions for maximum impact
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Proficiency with Business Analytic Tools (Tableau or Power BI) considered an asset
